We want to provide parents in Chicago's underserved communities with the tools to further help their young children. We make this accessible through weekly newsletters with play themes and ideas, meetings, workshops, and much more, all of which are supported by your donations.

SUCCESS STORY
Charliny P. first connected with Play Smart Literacy in 2023 after happening upon our play-and-learn workshop with Laundry Cares at her local laundromat.
After attending the workshop, Charliny registered herself and her son to Play Smart Literacy, and since then, she has been one of our most engaged parents. We are always delighted to get updates of her and her son reading and playing together!
We are so happy to be able to support and empower parents like Charliny as they nurture their children and babies' growth and literacy!
Charliny still connects with us at Play Smart events, donation drives, and workshops, and has even invited friends to register.
